추미림 작가는 물리적인 환경과 온라인 상의 가상 세계 사이에 존재하는 스스로의 모습을 투영한 세계관을 담는 작업을 한다. 픽셀이라는 컴퓨터 그래픽의 최소 단위를 활용한 이미지로 그가 구축하는 세상이 드러난다. 개인의 거주지를 중심으로 작가의 시각으로 재구성되는 이미지를 통해 이질적 환경의 공간 속에서 해당 공간을 중첩시키는 설치를 진행한다. 이는 전시 공간 건물의 창을 통하여 내다 보이는 외부와의 연결지점으로 작용한다. 그리고 작가가 옮겨온 특정 공간과 전시 장소가 지닌 공간적 환경이 하나로 어우러지면서 또 다른 공간적 레이어를 생성한다.

Chu Mirim intends to involve a perspective that reflects the self-image that exists between the physical environment and the online virtual world. She uses the smallest unit of computer graphics called the pixel to reveal the world. Through the images reconstructed from the viewpoint of the artist, the installation is carried out to superpose the space in the space of the heterogeneous environment. This serves as a point of connection to the outside through the window of the exhibition space. When the specific space that the artist moved and the spatial environment of the exhibition space are combined into one, it creates another layer of the space.
